Stockholm, Sweden – April 5, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in front of the Swedish Foreign Ministry to protest recent death sentences issued against political prisoners affiliated with the MEK—particularly Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, who are facing imminent execution. The demonstrators demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners in Iran.
Participants voiced strong support for the ongoing Iranian Revolution and urged the Swedish government to take decisive action by closing the Iranian regime’s embassy and designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
Organizers of the rally reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of dictatorship—whether under the current theocratic regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
They also called for international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance movement and affirmed the right of MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their fight against oppression and tyranny.
