May 1, 2025 – On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, supporters of the Iranian Resistance held rallies in various cities around the world, including The Hague, Stockholm, Hamburg, Sydney, Brussels, Cologne, Aarhus, Heidelberg, Madrid, Oslo, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, and Geneva.
Protesters condemned the anti-labor policies of the clerical regime in Iran and declared that the only path to freedom for Iran’s workers and laborers from oppression and exploitation is the overthrow of the mullahs’ dictatorial regime. They emphasized that this goal must be achieved by the Iranian people and their organized resistance, represented inside the country by the Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
They also expressed their solidarity with all Iranian workers and wage earners and reaffirmed their support for the relentless struggle to secure workers’ rights—rights that, can only be realized through regime change in Iran.
Iranians supporting the Iranian Resistance, during International Workers’ Day demonstrations in cities around the world, emphasized in their slogans the rejection of tyranny and dictatorship in all its forms, including the overthrown monarchical dictatorship of the Shah and the religious terrorist dictatorship of the mullahs. Protesters also voiced support for the democratic alternative proposed by the NCRI and the leadership of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.
The Iranians also expressed their sympathy and solidarity with the survivors of the Bandar Abbas explosion disaster, for which the mullahs’ regime and its repressive and exploitative organs were the main culprits, with most of the victims being port workers.
