Bologna, Italy – May 10, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a book table and photo exhibition in Bologna, condemning the death sentences of political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI, particularly Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, who face imminent execution. Participants demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners in Iran.
Demonstrators expressed unwavering solidarity with the Iranian Revolution and called on the Italian government to shut down the Iranian regime’s embassy, which is a hub of terrorism and espionage.
The participants in Bologna reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of dictatorship, whether under the current mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
They also urged the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s resistance and the right of the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and oppression.
Italian citizens, in solidarity with the Iranian people’s uprising, condemned the human rights violations and executions carried out by the Iranian regime. They signed a petition supporting the Iranian people’s struggle and the Iranian resistance.
