Berlin, Germany – May 17, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and exhibition at the Brandenburg Gate to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights violations, with particular focus on the death sentences imposed on political prisoners.

Participants demanded the immediate cancellation of these death sentences and the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Iran. They condemned the regime’s ongoing repression and voiced strong support for the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change.
The demonstrators paid tribute to the martyrs of the Iranian revolution—those executed by the regime or killed during popular uprisings—and reaffirmed their commitment to the ongoing struggle for freedom, democracy, justice, and human rights.
The demonstrators in Berlin commemorated 60 years of the relentless struggle of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), founded in 1965. As of 2025, sixty years have passed since the organization’s establishment and its continued fight against two dictatorships—the overthrown monarchy of the Shah and the current religious and terrorist dictatorship of the mullahs. The demonstrators paid tribute to the MEK’s six decades of unwavering resistance.
The rally’s organizers called on the German government to take decisive action—specifically, to shut down the Iranian regime’s embassy in Berlin and officially designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

Protesters also reaffirmed their vision for a democratic, secular republic in Iran, firmly rejecting both theocratic rule and any return to monarchy.
They urged the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s right to resist oppression and emphasized solidarity with the MEK Resistance Units operating inside Iran against tyranny.
