Düsseldorf, Germany – May 10, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition to denounce the Iranian regime’s increasing use of executions and demand the release of political prisoners, including those linked to the PMOI.
The demonstrators voiced strong support for the “No to Executions” campaign, launched in response to the ongoing executions in Iranian prisons. MEK supporters in Düsseldorf called for the prosecution of the Iranian regime’s leaders in an international court for crimes against humanity.
They also expressed solidarity with the victims of a recent explosion in Bandar Abbas, Iran. Holding signs and chanting slogans, participants mourned the loss of innocent lives and offered heartfelt condolences to the affected families. The demonstrators accused Iran’s ruling clerical regime and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of direct responsibility for the tragedy.
The Iranian community in Düsseldorf emphasized the Iranian people’s aspiration for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the current clerical regime or a return to the monarchy.
Additionally, they demanded the closure of the Iranian embassy in Germany and the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. The protesters called for international recognition of the Iranian Resistance and the right of the Iranian people, including the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran, to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and oppression.
