Zurich, Switzerland – May 10, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held an exhibition in Zurich to protest the Iranian regime’s severe repression, focusing especially on the death sentences imposed on political prisoners Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, who reportedly face imminent execution.
The demonstrators demanded the immediate abolition of these death sentences and the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Iran. They condemned the regime’s ongoing human rights violations and expressed solidarity with the Iranian people’s uprising for democratic change.
Protesters called on the Swiss government to take decisive measures, specifically urging the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Bern and the official designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
The organizers reaffirmed their vision of a democratic, secular republic in Iran, explicitly rejecting all forms of dictatorship, whether under the current religious regime or any return to monarchy.
They also called for international recognition of the Iranian people’s right to resist oppression, emphasizing support for the MEK Resistance Units and their struggle inside Iran against tyranny and dictatorship.
