Canada: Vancouver Rally Highlights Iran’s Human Rights Violations and Urges Release of Political Prisoners

Vancouver, Canada- June 7, 2025
Vancouver, Canada – June 7, 2025: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights abuses, particularly the death sentences imposed on political prisoners.

Demonstrators called for the immediate revocation of these death penalties and the unconditional release of all political detainees. They denounced the regime’s continued repression and expressed unwavering support for the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change.

Participants also honored the memory of those martyred during the Iranian revolution—individuals executed by the regime or killed in popular uprisings—and reaffirmed their commitment to the struggle for freedom, democracy, justice, and human rights.

Protesters reiterated their vision for a democratic, secular republic—rejecting both clerical rule and any return to monarchical governance. They urged the international community to support the Iranian people’s right to resist tyranny and expressed solidarity with the MEK Resistance Units operating inside Iran.
