Iranian Resistance Rally in Vienna Protests Iran’s Nuclear Threat and Urges Global Action

Vienna, Austria – June 10, 2025

Vienna, Austria – June 10, 2025: Coinciding with the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) Board of Governors meeting, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered at Muhammad-Asad-Platz in Vienna to voice their alarm over the Iranian regime’s nuclear ambitions.

Outside the IAEA headquarters, protesters from the Iranian Resistance conveyed a clear message: “No deal with a regime that has enriched uranium for 10 nuclear bombs.” They called on the international community to reject appeasement and confront the escalating nuclear threat posed by Tehran.

Demonstrators demanded the immediate activation of the UN snapback sanctions and the reinstatement of all UN Security Council resolutions to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. They warned that, in October 2025, restrictions on Iran’s production of advanced centrifuges and its enrichment of uranium to near-weapons-grade levels will officially expire—removing key barriers to the regime’s pursuit of nuclear arms.

Protesters denounced Tehran’s ongoing strategy of using negotiations as a smokescreen to advance its nuclear program and pursue destabilizing activities throughout the region. Holding banners and images of Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI, demonstrators stressed the need for a firm and decisive Western policy.

The Iranian Resistance supporters also called on the IAEA to refer Iran’s nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council without delay. They urged international powers to take a resolute stance against the Iranian regime’s terrorism, warmongering, and espionage activities.

Among their specific demands was the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. The protesters also pressed the European Union to adopt stricter policies against the regime and called for the closure of the Iranian embassy in Austria, which they identified as a hub for espionage operations.

Adjacent to the rally, an exhibition drew attention to the regime’s increasing use of executions and its accelerated nuclear efforts, sparking broader international concern about Iran’s growing threats to human rights and global stability.
