Bucharest, Romania – July 12, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Bucharest for an impactful exhibition condemning the Iranian regime’s escalating executions and human rights abuses.
The exhibition prominently featured photographs and images of martyrs from Iran’s nationwide uprisings, especially the 2022 uprising, reminding visitors of the sacrifices made by those who fought for Iran’s freedom from dictatorship.
Organizers demanded the immediate abolition of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners, denouncing the regime’s ongoing violations of human rights. The event expressed deep solidarity with the Iranian people’s enduring struggle for justice and democratic change.
Speakers and attendees firmly rejected both the ruling theocratic dictatorship and any return to monarchy, advocating for a secular, democratic republic as Iran’s future. They also highlighted the essential role of MEK Resistance Units active inside Iran, affirming their right to self-defense in the pursuit of democracy.
The exhibition honored the memory of the uprising martyrs and urged the international community to hold regime leaders accountable for crimes against humanity.
The collective message from Bucharest was clear: Stop executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s fight for a free and democratic Iran.
