On July 19, 2025, supporters of the Iranian Resistance gathered in Los Angeles to protest the escalating wave of executions and repression targeting political prisoners in Iran. Organized by the Iranian American Community of Northern California, the rally condemned the regime’s systematic human rights violations, including the alarming increase in death sentences against activists associated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). Protesters called for the immediate release of all political prisoners and the abolition of the death penalty in Iran.
A key focus of the demonstration was the urgent situation of prisoners such as Saeed Masouri and members of the Resistance Units, who face severe threats of execution. Protesters warned that the silence of the international community risks enabling another massacre inside Iran’s prisons, echoing the horrors of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners.
We gathered in Los Angeles to condemn increased pressure on political prisoners and raise awareness of rising executions by Iran's brutal regime.

Participants voiced strong support for the “Third Option” introduced by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). This plan advocates for democratic change led by the Iranian people themselves and their organized resistance movement, rejecting both foreign military intervention and appeasement policies. Protesters reiterated their commitment to a free, secular, democratic, and non-nuclear Iran, grounded in Rajavi’s 10-point plan.
Thank you @KTVU for echoing our voices.
