Winterthur Exhibition Denounces Iran’s Human Rights Violations, Calls for Global Response

Winterthur, Switzerland – July 15, 2025

Winterthur, Switzerland – July 15, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized an exhibition in Winterthur to denounce the Iranian regime’s worsening human rights abuses, highlighting the surge in death sentences imposed on political prisoners.

Participants strongly condemned the mass executions carried out by the clerical regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners. They urged the international community to hold Iran’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity by prosecuting them in international courts.

Participants expressed their solidarity with the ongoing struggle of the Iranian people and urged the Swiss government to take firm action—specifically, to close the Iranian regime’s embassy in Switzerland and officially designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

The organizers reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of dictatorship—whether under the current theocratic regime or a return to monarchical rule.

They concluded by calling for international recognition of the Iranian people’s right to resist tyranny. This includes acknowledging the efforts of the MEK Resistance Units operating inside Iran and affirming their right to defend themselves in the pursuit of freedom, justice, and democracy.
