Iranian Resistance Supporters in San Diego, California Mark 80th Week of “No to Execution Tuesdays”

On the 80th week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, Iranian-American supporters of the Iranian Resistance gathered in front of the Hall of Justice in San Diego, California. The event featured a photo exhibition honoring political prisoners and martyrs of Iran’s freedom movement, drawing attention to the escalating wave of executions and the brutal crackdown inside Iranian prisons.

This week’s protest came just days after a violent raid by prison guards on Ward 4 of Ghezel Hesar Prison and the execution of Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani—two active participants in the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign. Inside Iran, prisoners across 48 facilities joined in coordinated resistance, amplifying the outcry against the regime’s machinery of death.

The demonstrators in San Diego strongly condemned the Iranian regime’s intensifying human rights abuses, especially the use of the death penalty against dissidents. They called for the immediate release of all political prisoners and paid tribute to the victims of past and ongoing uprisings.

Freedom-loving Iranians at the event reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to establishing a democratic, secular republic in Iran. They rejected all forms of dictatorship—whether the ruling theocracy or any return to monarchy—expressing solidarity with the people of Iran in their struggle for justice, freedom, and national sovereignty.
