Bucharest, Romania – September 27, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held an exhibition condemning the Iranian regime’s escalating executions and systematic human rights abuses.
The exhibition prominently displayed photographs of martyrs from Iran’s nationwide uprisings—particularly the 2022 protests—reminding visitors of the sacrifices made by those who fought for freedom from dictatorship.
Organizers called for the immediate abolition of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners, denouncing the regime’s ongoing human rights violations. The event expressed strong solidarity with the Iranian people’s enduring struggle for justice and democratic change, and urged the international community to hold the regime’s leaders accountable for crimes against humanity.
The exhibition also rejected both the ruling theocratic dictatorship and any return to monarchy, advocating instead for a secular, democratic republic as Iran’s future. Organizers emphasized the vital role of MEK Resistance Units inside Iran and affirmed their right to self-defense in the pursuit of democracy.
The collective message from Bucharest was clear: Stop executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s fight for a free and democratic Iran.
Romanian citizens also visited the exhibition in Bucharest, expressing their solidarity with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and democracy.
