
Los Angeles, California – August 30, 2025: Members of the Iranian American community gathered to commemorate the upcoming 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). They paid tribute to the organization’s founders and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom, democracy, and justice in Iran.
On this occasion, MEK supporters in Los Angeles also presented a musical performance to celebrate the organization’s six decades of resistance.
Speakers at the Los Angeles celebration emphasized that for sixty years, the MEK has stood resolutely against both the Shah’s dictatorship and the clerical regime’s tyranny, leading the fight for a free, democratic, and secular republic.
