Bucharest, Romania – November 1, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held an exhibition to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating use of the death penalty, particularly against political prisoners.
The event called for the complete abolition of capital punishment in Iran and the unconditional release of all political prisoners, especially those facing imminent execution. Organizers also urged that senior regime officials be held accountable before an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.
The exhibition backed NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi‘s “No to Executions” campaign for global expansion, while reaffirming calls for regime change toward a secular, democratic republic—rejecting both theocracy and monarchy—and expressing support for MEK Resistance Units inside Iran fighting for justice.
The collective message from Bucharest was clear: Stop executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s fight for a free and democratic Iran.
Romanian citizens also visited the exhibition in Bucharest, expressing their solidarity with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and democracy.
