Lively Gathering and Demonstration in Stockholm
Stockholm, Sweden — November 15, 2025: A lively gathering and demonstration was held in front of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) to honor the 1500 martyrs of the nationwide Iranian uprisings in November 2019 (Aban 98), the 2022 protests, and political prisoners—especially those executed by the mullahs’ regime this year and those still at risk of execution.
Commemorating the Martyrs and Highlighting Resistance
At the rally, freedom-loving Iranians and PMOI/MEK supporters emphasized the continuation of the path of freedom-seeking and resistance against the oppressive clerical regime. They also commemorated the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising and highlighted the courage of the Iranian people in standing up against tyranny.
Role of Resistance Units in the Nationwide Uprising
Participants recalled the lightning-fast and fiery attacks by Resistance Units and protesters from November 14 to 20, 2019, across more than 200 cities and 1,000 locations nationwide, underlining the decisive role of this nationwide uprising in shaking the foundations of the criminal clerical regime.
Protest Against Executions and Demand for Political Prisoners’ Release
The rally also protested the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons.
Call for a Democratic Republic and Recognition of Resistance Units
Iranians in Stockholm underscored their people’s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule. They stressed the recognition of the Resistance Units and the right of the Iranian people to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny.
Demanding Action Against the IRGC
The Iranian community specifically demanded that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) be designated as a terrorist organization and urged stronger actions from the Swedish government and the European Union against the Iranian regime.
Honoring Martyrs and Affirming Commitment
