London Rally Honors Iran’s November 2019 Uprising and Rejects All Forms of Dictatorship

London rally – November 15, 2025

On November 15, 2025, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in rainy London to honor the 1,500 martyrs of the November 2019 uprising, the victims of the 2022 protests, and political prisoners—especially those executed this year or facing imminent danger.

Robert Ward, a member of the Croydon City Council, addressed the gathering and expressed strong support for the Iranian Resistance. He stressed the need to reject all forms of dictatorship, including both monarchical rule and the current clerical regime.

A message from Baroness Caroline Cox, member of the UK House of Lords, was read by Ms. Naghmeh Rajabi. In her message, Baroness Cox reaffirmed her solidarity with the Iranian people and the Resistance, and expressed her support for Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in their pursuit of a free and democratic Iran.

Ms. Azadeh Zabeti, a lawyer and legal expert, along with several representatives of Iranian youth and women in the UK, also delivered remarks, emphasizing the Iranian community’s commitment to freedom and justice.

Participants commemorated the bravery of protesters and Resistance Units whose rapid and widespread actions in November 2019 shook the foundations of the regime. They condemned the rising wave of executions in Iran and demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners.

The crowd reiterated the Iranian people’s call for a democratic republic and rejected any return to dictatorship—whether religious or monarchical. They urged stronger action from the British government, including the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
