Oslo, Norway — November 15, 2025: A rally and photo exhibition were held in front of Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) to honor the 1500 martyrs of the nationwide Iranian uprisings in November 2019 (Aban 98), the 2022 protests, and Iran’s political prisoners—especially those executed this year or currently at risk.

Freedom-loving Iranians and PMOI supporters emphasized the ongoing struggle for democracy and resistance against the oppressive clerical regime. They paid tribute to the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising and highlighted the enduring courage of the Iranian people in their stand against tyranny.

During the gathering, Mr. Parviz Khazai, the representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in Nordic countries, joined the event and delivered an inspiring speech, reaffirming the Iranian people’s determination to continue their fight for freedom.

Participants also recalled the swift and fiery actions carried out by Resistance Units and protesters from November 14 to 20, 2019, across more than 200 cities and 1,000 locations nationwide—actions that played a decisive role in shaking the foundations of the criminal clerical regime.

The rally condemned the regime’s escalating wave of executions and demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners. Iranians in Oslo underscored their commitment to a democratic republic and rejected any form of dictatorship, whether rooted in the ruling theocracy or any return to monarchical rule. They stressed the importance of recognizing the Resistance Units and defending the Iranian people’s right to resist tyranny.

The community also called for the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization and urged the Norwegian government to adopt stronger measures against the Iranian regime.

In a moving moment, Dr. Hamidreza Taherzadeh, an artist and member of the NCRI, performed a beautiful violin piece in honor of the martyrs—especially those killed during the nationwide November 2019 uprising.

The gathering concluded with the singing of the anthem, the laying of flowers, and a solemn tribute to the martyrs, reaffirming the unwavering commitment of the Iranian people to freedom and justice.
