Vancouver, Canada – November 29, 2025
Vancouver, Canada – November 29, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) rallied in Vancouver to denounce the Iranian regime’s extensive use of capital punishment, including the execution of political prisoners, as a serious breach of human rights.

Call to Abolish the Death Penalty in Iran

The rally demanded the complete abolition of death penalty in Iran and the unconditional release of all political prisoners, especially those facing imminent execution. Organizers also called for senior regime officials to be held accountable before an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.

A Call for Justice and a Free Iran

Participants reaffirmed support for Maryam Rajavi‘s “No to Executions” campaign, advocating for its global expansion. They emphasized the Iranian people’s right to a secular, democratic republic, rejecting both theocracy and monarchy, and highlighted the ongoing efforts of MEK Resistance Units inside Iran fighting for justice and human rights.
