Bucharest Exhibition Highlights Demand to Stop Executions, Free Iran’s Political Prisoners

Bucharest, Romania – December 13, 2025

Bucharest, Romania – December 13, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a photo exhibition and book stall to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating use of the death penalty, particularly against political prisoners. The event called for the complete abolition of capital punishment in Iran and the immediate release of all political detainees, especially those facing imminent execution. Organizers also urged that senior regime officials be held accountable before an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.

The exhibition supported NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi and her “No to Executions” campaign, while reaffirming demands for regime change toward a secular, democratic republic—rejecting both theocracy and monarchy. The exhibition also expressed solidarity with MEK Resistance Units inside Iran combating injustice.

The clear message from Bucharest was to stop executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s quest for freedom and democracy. Romanian citizens visiting the exhibition expressed their solidarity with Iranians in their struggle for human rights and democratic change.
