Denmark – January 17, 2026: Iranians gathered in Copenhagen to honor the martyrs of Iran’s nationwide uprising and express solidarity with protesters calling for freedom and democracy. Demonstrators carried placards and portraits of those killed, paying tribute to their sacrifice and reaffirming their commitment to the struggle for a free republic.

Participants chanted slogans such as “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran” and “No to the Shah! No to the Mullahs!” — rejecting both the past monarchy and the current theocracy. Speakers denounced attempts to distort or silence the genuine voice of Iranians through coordinated disinformation in favor of the son of the former Shah.

They commended the courage of protesters inside Iran who risk their lives for democratic rights and called on the international community to stand with the Iranian people — not with any form of dictatorship — in their quest for a free and democratic republic.
