Strasbourg, France — January 22, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg to show solidarity with the nationwide uprising in Iran and call for international action against the mullahs’ regime.

Solidarity with Iran’s Uprising

Demonstrators carried banners reading “No to the Shah! No to the Mullahs” and “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran,” expressing their support for protesters inside Iran and demanding a free and democratic republic. Photos of the martyrs of the ongoing nationwide protests highlighted the regime’s violent repression, including killings, mass arrests, and hospital raids.

European Parliament Condemns Regime

During the rally, the European Parliament adopted a resolution overwhelmingly supporting the Iranian uprising and condemning the regime’s crimes. The resolution was hailed by demonstrators as a courageous and timely act of solidarity with the Iranian people.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), thanked President Roberta Metsola and Members of the European Parliament for standing with Iranians and their legitimate demands for freedom, human rights, and democracy.

International Support Needed

Speakers at the Strasbourg rally emphasized that verbal condemnations are no longer sufficient. They urged the international community to take concrete measures, including investigations into crimes against humanity, holding regime leaders accountable in international courts, and applying legal actions under universal jurisdiction.
