Oslo – January 15, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance gathered for several consecutive days in front of the Norwegian Parliament to express their strong support for the nationwide protests in Iran. The demonstrators strongly condemned the massacre of thousands of protesters by the clerical regime and called for holding the regime accountable for crimes against humanity.
In solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran, participants braved snowy, sub-zero temperatures and chanted anti-regime slogans to show their support for compatriots who have risen up inside the country. The rally highlighted the determination of Iranians abroad to stand alongside protesters facing repression, violence, and mass arrests.

Freedom-loving Iranians called on the Norwegian government, amid the ongoing popular uprising—during which many young people have been killed or injured by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and thousands have been detained—to take decisive action. They urged Norway, in the name of the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance, to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization, close the regime’s embassy and affiliated centers, and expel the clerical regime’s terrorist diplomats from Norwegian soil.
Demonstrators also called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy, whether monarchical or theocratic. They held pictures of martyrs of the uprising and carried banners reflecting the core demands of protesters inside Iran, including slogans such as “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran” and “No to the Shah! No to the Mullahs.”
The rally sent a clear and powerful message to the international community to stand with the people of Iran—not with any form of dictatorship—and to support their ongoing struggle for freedom, justice, and democracy.
