Gothenburg, Sweden — February 14, 2026 — Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Gothenburg to express solidarity with the ongoing nationwide uprising in Iran and to reject all forms of dictatorship, whether monarchical or clerical, while calling for the establishment of a democratic republic.

Participants voiced support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and emphasized the role of Resistance Units affiliated with the PMOI inside the country. Demonstrators carried banners and chanted slogans in support of regime change by the Iranian people and the creation of a republic based on democracy and popular sovereignty.

The rally also highlighted several key demands: the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Sweden; the prosecution of Ali Khamenei and other senior officials in international courts for crimes against humanity; and international recognition of the Iranian people’s right to resist tyranny.

Speakers and participants further expressed support for the Ten-Point Plan proposed by Maryam Rajavi, described as a roadmap for a future democratic Iran grounded in pluralism, gender equality, separation of religion and state, and respect for human rights.

The gathering concluded with renewed calls for global support for the Iranian people’s uprising and their pursuit of freedom, justice, and a democratic republic.
