Oslo – February 21, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance gathered outside the Norwegian Foreign Ministry to honor the martyrs of Iran’s nationwide uprising and express strong solidarity with protesters demanding freedom and democracy. The event, held on the 40th day after the killings of protesters, aimed to honor the fallen and demand justice.

In solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran, participants braved snowy, sub-zero temperatures and chanted anti-regime slogans to show their support for compatriots who have risen up inside the country. The rally highlighted the determination of Iranians abroad to stand alongside protesters facing repression, violence, and mass arrests.

Demonstrators also called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy, whether monarchical or theocratic. They held pictures of the martyrs of the uprising and carried banners reflecting the core demands of protesters inside Iran, including slogans such as “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran” and “No to the Shah! No to the Mullahs.”

During the gathering, participants laid flowers and paid tribute before the images of the martyrs of the January 2026 uprising in Iran.

At the end of the event, the site was decorated with colorful lanterns and lights, and the song “Look, My Sky Is Filling with Stars” was played in memory of the martyrs of the nationwide uprising—hailed as the shining stars of Iran’s freedom movement.

The rally sent a clear and powerful message to the international community to stand with the people of Iran—not with any form of dictatorship—and to support their ongoing struggle for freedom, justice, and democracy.
