Copenhagen, Denmark – February 20, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Copenhagen to honor the martyrs of Iran’s nationwide uprising and express strong solidarity with protesters demanding freedom and democracy. The event, held on the 40th day after the killings of protesters, aimed to honor the fallen and demand justice.

Participants chanted slogans such as “Regime change in Iran by the people of Iran” and “Shah! No to the Mullahs!” — rejecting both the past monarchy and the current theocracy. Speakers denounced attempts to distort or silence the genuine voice of Iranians through coordinated disinformation campaigns in favor of the son of the former Shah.

They commended the courage of protesters inside Iran who risk their lives for democratic rights and called on the international community to stand with the Iranian people — not with any form of dictatorship — in their quest for a free and democratic republic.
