Paris, France – February 24, 2026 – A book table and photo exhibition were held near the Sorbonne University in Paris to express solidarity with the nationwide uprising in Iran and to honor the victims and fallen heroes of the movement. Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized the event, which highlighted the resilience of the Iranian people and their ongoing demand for freedom, justice, and democratic governance.
Organizers reminded French citizens of the suffering endured by Iranians and their firm rejection of all forms of dictatorship—both monarchical and theocratic. Through powerful images and personal testimonies, the exhibition emphasized the sacrifices made by protesters and urged the international community to stand with the Iranian people rather than support any form of authoritarian rule.
Participants emphasized the urgent need to establish a free and democratic republic in Iran, reaffirming their support for the ongoing struggle of Iranians seeking political rights and civil liberties. The event served both as a memorial to those who lost their lives and as a renewed call for global solidarity with a movement striving for meaningful change.
