Paris, France – March 24, 2026 – A book fair and photo exhibition took place in Paris to show support for the nationwide uprising in Iran and to pay tribute to its victims and fallen heroes. The event also denounced the ongoing human rights abuses and the harsh executions carried out by Iran’s ruling clerical regime. Organizers highlighted the serious risks faced by political prisoners amid conditions of war and bombardment, urging their immediate release.
The event, organized by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), highlighted the resilience of the Iranian people and their unwavering demand for freedom, justice, and democratic governance. It also welcomed the official announcement of a Provisional Government by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
Organizers called on the French public to recognize the suffering of the Iranian people and their clear rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic. Through compelling photographs and personal testimonies, the exhibition showcased the courage and sacrifices of protesters, urging the international community to stand with the Iranian people rather than support any authoritarian alternative.
Participants emphasized the urgent need to establish a free and democratic republic in Iran, reaffirming their commitment to the ongoing struggle for political rights and civil liberties. The event stood both as a tribute to those who gave their lives and as a renewed call for global solidarity with Iran’s movement for lasting change.
