Copenhagen, Denmark – April 9, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance have been rallying for several consecutive days outside the Iranian regime’s embassy in Berlin, protesting the execution of six political prisoners — Mohammad Taghavi, Akbar Daneshvar Kar, Babak Alipour, Pouya Ghobadi, Vahid Bani-Amerian, and Abolhassan Montazer. The victims were affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Demonstrators strongly condemned the actions of Iran’s ruling regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights. During the rally, participants paid tribute to the fallen by laying flowers in front of their photos and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle against the mullahs’ regime until its overthrow and the establishment of peace, freedom, and justice in a democratic republic.
They also called for regime change and urged the Danish government to adopt a firm stance against the regime’s ongoing human rights abuses.
Call for International Support
Organizers of the rally in Copenhagen urged the Danish public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s unequivocal rejection of all forms of dictatorship — whether monarchical or theocratic.
