Berlin, Germany – April 7, 2026 — Supporters of the Iranian Resistance organized a rally outside the Iranian regime’s embassy in Berlin to protest the execution of six political prisoners affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK): Mohammad Taghavi, Akbar Daneshvar Kar, Babak Alipour, Pouya Ghobadi, Vahid Bani-Amerian, and Abolhassan Montazer.
During the gathering, participants paid tribute to the recently executed political prisoners by laying flowers at their portraits. They vowed to continue the fight for freedom in Iran and pledged to work toward the overthrow of the mullahs’ dictatorial regime.
Rally participants strongly condemned the Iranian regime, describing the executions as a flagrant violation of human rights. Demonstrators called for regime change and urged the German government to adopt a more decisive policy toward Tehran. They also stressed the need for international accountability to address the regime’s ongoing repression and systematic abuses.
Organizers emphasized that the Iranian people reject all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic—and called on the international community to recognize and support this demand.
