Paris, France – April 14–15, 2026 – A book stall and photo exhibition by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) was held in Paris, honoring martyred political prisoners affiliated with the organization who were recently executed by the Iranian regime, as well as the fallen protesters of the January 2026 uprising and other nationwide protests.
The event also explicitly rejected both monarchical and theocratic rule, emphasizing the Iranian people’s demand for a democratic republic led by the Iranian Resistance as a path toward peace and freedom.
NCRI Provisional Government
The exhibition highlighted the resilience of the Iranian people and their unwavering demand for freedom, justice, and democratic governance. It also marked the official announcement of a Provisional Government by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
Rejecting Dictatorship, Seeking Solidarity
Organizers urged the French public to recognize the suffering of the Iranian people and their rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic. Through powerful images and personal testimonies, the exhibition showcased the courage and sacrifices of Iranian protesters, while strongly condemning the execution of political prisoners and calling for international accountability.
Participants called on the international community to stand with the Iranian people rather than support any authoritarian alternative. They emphasized the urgent need to establish a free and democratic republic in Iran, reaffirming their commitment to the ongoing struggle for political rights and civil liberties.
The event served both as a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives and as a renewed call for global solidarity with Iran’s movement for lasting change.
