Vancouver, Canada – April 25, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered to condemn the executions of PMOI political prisoners and protesters of the January 2026 uprising carried out by the Iranian regime, and to honor their memory.
Demonstrators strongly condemned the actions of Iran’s ruling regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights. They called for regime change and urged the Canadian government to adopt a firm stance against the mullahs’ ongoing human rights abuses.
The rally highlighted growing international concern over the situation of political prisoners in Iran. Participants called for increased global pressure to halt executions and support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.
Call for International Support
Organizers of the rally in Vancouver urged the Canadian public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s clear rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic.
