Melbourne Exhibition: PMOI Supporters Denounce Executions in Iran, Urge International Action

MEK supporters in Melbourne held an exhibition calling for global action to stop executions in Iran and demanding freedom for political prisoners.

Melbourne, Australia – May 30, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a book stall and photo exhibition to protest the execution of political prisoners linked to the PMOI and demonstrators detained during the January 2026 uprising. The event voiced support for the nationwide “No to Execution” campaign, urged immediate international action against the regime’s continuing human rights abuses, and called for the unconditional release of all political prisoners.

Participants condemned the Iranian regime’s actions, denouncing the executions as blatant violations of human rights. They called for democratic change in Iran and urged the Australian government to take a firm position against the regime’s ongoing abuses.

The event also underscored rising international concern over the condition of political prisoners in Iran. Participants appealed for greater global pressure to stop the executions and to support the Iranian people’s pursuit of freedom and democracy.

Call for International Support

Organizers of the rally in Melbourne urged the Australian public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s firm rejection of all forms of dictatorship — whether monarchical or theocratic.

Solidarity of Australian Citizens in Melbourne

Australian citizens visiting the photo exhibition of martyrs and images of political prisoners executed by the Iranian regime expressed deep solidarity with the Iranian people. They strongly condemned the regime’s inhumane actions and voiced their support for the struggle for freedom and human rights in Iran.
