MEK supporters protest Iran regime executions with a photo exhibition and information stand in Bucharest, calling for freedom of political prisoners.

Bucharest, Romania – July 4, 2026 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized a photo exhibition accompanied by an information stand to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating use of the death penalty, particularly against political prisoners.

The event called for the complete abolition of capital punishment in Iran and the immediate release of all political detainees, especially those facing imminent execution. Organizers also urged that senior regime officials be held accountable before an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.

The exhibition expressed support for NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi and her “No to Executions” campaign, while reaffirming the demand for regime change in favor of a secular, democratic republic that rejects both theocracy and monarchy. It also expressed solidarity with MEK Resistance Units inside Iran that are fighting against injustice.

The central message from Bucharest was clear: stop the executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy. Romanian citizens who visited the exhibition expressed their solidarity with Iranians in their fight for human rights and democratic change.
