Iranian Resistance Supporters Rally in Paris for Freedom and Democracy

Paris, September 12, 2026 — Supporters of the Iranian Resistance and members of the Iranian community gathered in Paris today to commemorate the 2022 nationwide uprising in Iran, ahead of the fourth anniversary of the historic protests.

Four years after the September 2022 uprising, the message of “Women, Resistance, Freedom” continues to resonate with determination. Demonstrators marched through Paris to reaffirm their support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and their determination to bring about fundamental democratic change in Iran.

Alongside the march, a photo exhibition honoring protesters who lost their lives during the 2022 uprising was held, paying tribute to those who gave their lives in the struggle for freedom and keeping their memory and aspirations alive.

Maryam Rajavi Sends Message to Iranian Resistance Supporters

On this occasion, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent a message to freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance, reaffirming the enduring significance of the September 2022 uprising and the Iranian people’s determination to achieve freedom, democracy, and fundamental change in Iran.

Paris Demonstrators Honor Victims of Iran’s 2022 Uprising

The demonstrators condemned the execution of protesters and political prisoners in Iran and expressed their support for the organized Iranian Resistance and the Ten-Point Plan of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, as a framework for establishing a democratic republic in Iran.

They also rejected both the former monarchical dictatorship and the current clerical dictatorship, emphasizing that the Iranian people seek neither a return to the past nor the continuation of the present regime, but a free and democratic republic.

The Iranian community in Paris sent a clear message to Iran’s ruling clerics: no repression, no executions, and no gallows can break the determination of the Iranian people and their organized resistance to achieve freedom and democracy.

The demonstration and photo exhibition highlighted the enduring spirit of the September 2022 uprising and underscored the determination of supporters of the Iranian Resistance to keep its call for freedom and fundamental change alive.
