Flames of Uprising Cannot Be Extinguished

People across Iran are continuously witnessing scenes of MEK Resistance units members displaying quotes from messages of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

On the eve of the 40-day commemoration of the martyrs of the nationwide Iran protests, MEK Resistance units, members and supporters of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran posted messages and pictures of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, in Tehran (Imam-Ali Expressway, Nezam Abad, Sattar Khan, and Marzdaran) as well as in different cities.

In Tehran, the banners read, “Hail to the martyrs from Shahriar to Karaj, Sirjan, Behbahan, Shiraz, Marivan, Khorramshahr, Tehran, and other cities,” “The blood of martyrs has strengthened the resolve for uprising and rebellion in Iran.”

In another act during the same period, defiant youth set fire to tires in Shiraz and blocked the highway to the regime’s suppressive patrols.

It is worth noting that any support for the PMOI inside Iran is considered punishable by death by the mullahs’ judiciary. Back in June 2014, Gholamreza Khosravi, an MEK supporter, was arrested and executed merely for sending a small financial donation to a satellite TV network affiliated to the PMOI/MEK. “Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani was arrested in 2008 in Rafsanjan, Kerman Province, in connection with his alleged support of the pro-PMOI (People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran) TV station Sima-ye Azadi (Voice of Freedom),” according to Amnesty International.
