Iran, October 1, 2021—During the last week, across Iran teachers and retirees massively protested against regime’s inhuman policies which led to spread of poverty. Across Iran, teachers demanded the release of imprisoned teachers.

These protests took place at the beginning of the new school year and shows the public dissent and outrage toward regime leaders. Especially when their slogans targets regime leaders.

Simultaneous with these protests, the network of the Iranian opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) expanded its activities across the country.

The MEK’s network inside Iran, the Resistance Units, organized anti-regime activities in various cities, calling for regime change as the only solution to the country’s crisis.

In major cities such as Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan and Shiraz, the Resistance Units took to graffiti with the slogans, “Rise up for freedom,” “Turn every university and school into a Resistance Unit,” and “Down with (Ali) Khamenei and (Ebrahim) Raisi, hail to the MEK.”
