Iran: MEK Resistance Units Project Images of Iranian Resistance Leaders in Public Places

Iran: MEK Resistance Units Project Images of Iranian Resistance Leaders in Public Places

Iran, April 24–30, 2023: MEK Resistance Units in Iran continued their efforts throughout last week. Beside torching IRGC signs, regime’s suppressive forces’ entrance, and similar activities, MEK Resistance Units projected images of Iranian Resistance leaders in public places.

MEK Resistance Units projected images of Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi in public places throughout Iran as part of their ongoing campaign against the Iranian regime.

Projecting images of Iranian resistance leaders in public places is important because on the one hand, it undermines the regime’s futile attempts to portray MEK as an unpopular movement, while on the other, these acts of defiance are crucial for the morale of the Iranian people and protesters who are suffering under the regime’s oppressive rule. Seeing images of Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi projected on public buildings gives them hope and inspires them to continue their resistance against the regime.

Moreover, these acts of defiance are not just symbolic gestures, but also part of a broader strategy by the MEK and its Resistance Units to undermine the regime’s grip on power. By projecting images of Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi, the Resistance Units are challenging the regime’s monopoly on public space and demonstrating their ability to organize and operate openly despite the regime’s efforts to suppress them.

And finally, we must know that such acts are not costless, and MEK Resistance Units are doing them at great risk to their safety and lives. The regime has a history of cracking down on dissent and opposition, especially on MEK supporters. Distributing images of Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi, who are seen as the main enemies of the regime, can lead to heavy sentences or even the death penalty.
So, let’s pray for the bravery of those who are risking their lives to establish democracy and freedom in Iran.
