MEK network message to the world against Khamenei’s warmongerings: The head of snake is in Tehran
October12-13, 2023—While the ruling regime in Iran intensifies its terrorist activities in the Middle East and around the world in an attempt to prolong the life of its dictatorship, the Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) are expanding their activities’ day by day.
As the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has reiterated many times, the overthrow of the clerical dictatorship in Iran will only be achieved by the people and the organized resistance. This is a message that the rapid growth of the MEK resistance units inside Iran confirms.
Protests and MEK Resistance Units activities in Zahedan
While after the 2022 uprising, the clerical regime made bloody efforts to suppress and silence the society, the heroes of Sistan and Baluchistan province, particularly in its capital Zahedan, have kept the flames of the uprising alive.
The Resistance Units in Zahedan, in response to the regime’s warmongering policies in the region, wrote a message to the world:
The mastermind behind every crime is the head of the snake (Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei)
Target the head of the snake (Supreme Leader) in Tehran
Zahedan is awake, the head of the snake is in Tehran
The MEK Resistance Units in Shiraz also installed posters of Massoud Rajavi in various parts of the city and public places.
A poster read: In Iran’s contemporary history, the PMOI/MEK are the guarantors of overthrowing the inhumane regime
The Resistance Units in Shiraz also engaged in widespread distribution of leaflets against the regime.
On these leaflets, it was written:
“Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!”
“We are warriors, we will fight, and we will take back Iran.”
“Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader.”
In Isfahan, the Units echoed similar slogans and said:
“We are warriors, we will fight, and we will take back Iran. Hail to Rajavi!”
“Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!”
Another activity of the Units in recent days was writing slogans against the regime on the walls and public places of the city.
The Resistance Units in various cities across Iran engaged in writing slogans against the regime on the streets and public places. They wrote phrases such as:
Down with the Revolutionary Guards!
Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!
Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!
Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the supreme leader Ali Khamenei!
On October 13, in a bold and dangerous protest, the Resistance Units in Zahedan also raised placards during Friday prayers. These placards bore the following messages:
Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the supreme leader Ali Khamenei
Neither monarchy nor Khamenei, yes to democracy and equality!
Given that the regime’s suppressive forces are present at public gatherings, especially Friday prayers, these actions are highly risky for the Resistance Units and could lead to their arrest and severe penalties.
The Resistance Units in Zahedan also raised placards on September 30, 2022, referring to the heinous crime committed in Zahedan and wrote, “We neither forgive nor forget this crime.” On that infamous day, known as the “Bloody Friday,” the regime’s suppressive forces fired on protesters during Friday prayers in Zahedan, killing more than 100 people, including more than a dozen children.
Amidst an intensification of the Iranian regime’s global and regional terror activities, the MEK’s Resistance Units relentlessly expand their operations. They reaffirm that only through the people and organized resistance can Iran’s theocratic dictatorship be overthrown. These brave units persist, defying risks, to Kindle hope and the dream of a democratic Iran through public displays, slogans, and protests.
Iran: Rebellious youths target IRGC command headquarters in Tehran
The rebellious youth attacked the headquarters of the Greater Tehran Protection Corps in Ishratabad, located in the heart of Tehran, leading to heavy explosions in the area.
The barracks, known as Wali Asr, houses not only the command headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards, named after Mohammad Rasulullah, but also several other IRGC commanders. These include the operational command of the northeastern areas of Tehran, known as the Nasr camp, the Basij organization of the Revolutionary Guards, the Basij district command of the 7th district of Tehran (Motahari), the Fatehin Basij Airborne Battalion, and the security unit known as Sahib al-Zaman.
In critical conditions and during social upheavals, all the military and security forces of northeast Tehran fall under the command of the Nasr operational command. The Sahib Al-Zaman security unit is responsible for nine Imam Ali Suppression Battalions and two IRGC Rangers Battalions.
The primary mission of the Greater Tehran Protection Corps is to manage social unrest and uprisings, suppress protests and demonstrations, apprehend and detain demonstrators, and interrogate and torture those arrested in solitary confinement cells.
