The Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) issued the statements about the extensive campaign of Charshanbe Suri across Iran by rebel youths against the tyranny and oppression of the mullahs’ regime.

Despite heavy security, rebellious youth nationwide transformed this year’s Fire Festival into an uprising against the mullahs’ regime. They targeted Basij, IRGC, and SSF centers, burning images of Khomeini and Khamenei.
The PMOI called for a nationwide campaign. In cities like Tehran, Isfahan, Qazvin, Kermanshah, Kerman, Yazd, Gorgan, Arak, Dezful, Mianeh, Bandar Abbas, Borujen, Jahrom, Mashhad, Babol, Yazd, Semnan, Khash, Rasht, Yasuj, Bushehr, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Shahriar, Borujerd, Hashtgerd, Ahvaz, Tabriz, Urmia, Khansar, Kerman, Sari, Kashan, Karaj, Shirvan, Sanandaj, Saveh, Qom, Miandoab, and Jiroft, youth lit fires, chanted slogans, and defaced walls. The regime deployed patrols and checkpoints, fearing unrest.

Tehran: In Tajrish Square, pictures of Khamenei and Qasem Soleimani were set ablaze. In Moshiriye and Sarasiab Malard, youth threw incendiary materials while chanting “Death to Khamenei” and “Your death executioner has arrived.” In Shemiran, fireworks and firecrackers filled the air. In Shahriar, youth chanted “Death to oppressors, be it the Shah or Leader (Khamenei).” In Qaleh Hassan Khan, Tehran, youth blocked the streets with fire.
Qom: Youth used burning tires to block the streets.
Sanandaj: Youth threw incendiary grenade at the Basij base in Hajjiabad neighborhood. They chanted “Death to oppressors, be it the Shah or Leader.”
Mashhad and Qazvin: Youth set fire while chanting “Women, Resistance, Freedom” and “In the year 1403 (upcoming Iranian year), fire will reach (Khamenei’s) door.”
Arak and Saveh: People set fire to an execution rope in protest against widespread executions by the regime and chanted slogans “Our response to executions is fire towards uprising.”
Ahvaz: Youth, in small groups, leap over the fire and hold signs saying “Death to oppressors, be it the Shah or the Leader.”
Kamyaran: Youth chanted slogans “Death to Khamenei” and “Fire is the answer to fire” while lighting fires.
Isfahan: Youth chanted slogans while burning tires, saying “Fire of invasion, this is the people’s response.”
Fardis, Karaj: Youth chanted “Our field is Iran, the snake’s head is in Tehran.”
In Behshahr, Shahrekord, Babol, Andimeshk, and Lahijan, pictures of Khamenei and Qasem Soleimani were set on fire.
