MEK Resistance Units Commemorate PMOI Founding Anniversary Across Iran

On the occasion of the founding anniversary of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Resistance Units throughout the country are celebrating this significant event, marking 59 years of resistance and struggle against the dictatorship of the Shah and the mullahs.

Resistance Units represent an organized network of activists across Iran who support the PMOI and engage in anti-regime activities, bravely defying the threats posed by the regime’s security forces and intelligence agencies.

In Karaj, the Resistance Units placed the PMOI emblem at the entrance of a tunnel to commemorate the upcoming anniversary of the organization’s founding.

In Kermanshah, the Resistance Units displayed the PMOI emblem along with a photo of PMOI founder Mohammad Hanifnejad from a pedestrian bridge.

In Sanandaj, they showcased an image of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi from another pedestrian bridge.

On Tehran’s Imam Ali Highway, the Resistance Units installed large PMOI emblems. Additionally, in another area of Tehran, they displayed a photo of Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), on a pedestrian bridge.

Simultaneously, in various cities, Resistance Units celebrated the PMOI founding anniversary by projecting images of the PMOI emblem and Iranian Resistance leaders in public areas at night. In Tehran, they projected the PMOI emblem in the Ekbatan district and along Rah Ahan Street.

In Karaj, they projected an image of PMOI founder Mohammad Hanifnejad on Nabovat Street. In Mehrshahr, they displayed images of both Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi.

In Rasht, the Resistance Units projected images of the PMOI founders at Abrisham Complex.

Similar activities were conducted in Mashhad, Shiraz, Bandar Abbas, Kermanshah, Bandar Anzali, and Ardebil.

These activities are taking place amid a concerning increase in repressive measures by the regime. The regime has made extensive efforts to prevent Iran’s youth from gravitating towards the PMOI, including prosecuting PMOI members, intensifying executions, and increasing pressure on political prisoners. However, determined to overthrow the regime and establish a democratic republic, the PMOI Resistance Units continue to expand and intensify their activities against the regime.
