MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan Intensify Campaign Against the Iranian Regime

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) Resistance Units in Zahedan have intensified their campaign against the Iranian regime on November 8, 2024, demonstrating their resolve through powerful slogans and placards. Their actions emphasize a commitment to overthrow the mullahs’ regime and establish a free and democratic Republic of Iran, as reflected in their recent activities.

The slogans chanted and displayed by the Resistance Units resonate with themes of freedom, resistance, and justice:

– “Our first and last message is regime change.”

– Message to the Commander-in-Chief of the National Liberation Army of Iran: We are ready to overthrow the regime!

– “For the freedom of our people and homeland, we will only rely on ourselves.”

– “Now is the time to call for overthrow and maximum offensive!”

– Massoud Rajavi: The labels of smuggling and terrorism do not stick to our Baluch brothers, who are fighting for justice and the basic rights of the oppressed Baluch people.

– “The people of our country and Baluchestan and the Sunnis of Iran will not be fooled by the regime-appointed provincial governor.”

– “We do not want a government that kills Baloch people, long live the Democratic Republic.”

– “The outcome of the regime’s new governor is the destruction of the people of Chabahar.”

– “The blood of the martyrs of the Bloody Friday of Zahedan and Khash are still alive.”

– “The response to the execution of prisoners and the killing of Baluch fuel carriers is uprising and fire!”

– “The overthrow of this regime will not come from the sky; it must be achieved through uprising on the ground.”

– “A century of tyranny: monarchy, absolute religious rule — No to monarchy, no to absolute religious rule, yes to democracy and equality.”

– “Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the mullahs.”

– “The execution of political prisoners is Khamenei‘s effort to prevent uprisings.”

– “An Iran without executions, a free and prosperous Iran, is our covenant with the people of Iran.”

These activities in Zahedan are part of a broader narrative of increasing defiance across Iran, where the MEK and its supporters are challenging the regime through protests, strikes, and international advocacy. The bold actions and slogans of the Resistance Units not only reflect a deep-seated desire for change but also signal a critical juncture in the Iranian opposition’s strategy against the regime.
