Activities of MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan – Friday, June 27, 2025

On Friday, June 27, 2025, in defiance of heightened security measures, the MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan—capital of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province—launched a bold campaign to amplify the voices of a nation yearning for freedom.

Through the display of striking banners and handwritten placards in public areas, they conveyed powerful messages calling for the overthrow of the clerical regime and advocating for a democratic republic. These acts of defiance reflect the growing resolve of the Iranian people to determine their own future and reject both dictatorship and foreign intervention.

• The Iranian people, with their courageous sons and daughters, are preparing for the ultimate battle: uprising and overthrow.

• Massoud Rajavi: The Iranian nation is gearing up for the decisive battle through uprising and regime change.

• Maryam Rajavi: Khamenei is responsible for an anti-national [nuclear weapons] project that, in addition to many lives, cost the people of Iran at least 2 trillion dollars and has now gone up in smoke.

• Maryam Rajavi: Let the Iranian people themselves bring down Khamenei and the dictatorship of Velayat-e Faqih in this fateful confrontation.

• Our message is clear: The Iranian people struggle for freedom must be recognized.

• We have risen for the overthrow of the regime and the establishment of a democratic, non-nuclear republic based on the separation of religion and state, gender equality, ethnic rights, an independent judiciary, and the abolition of the death penalty.

• The prerequisite for peace and security in the region is regime change by the hands of the Iranian people and their resistance.
