On Friday, July 11, 2025, defying intensified security measures, the MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan—the capital of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province—resumed their anti-regime activities, reaffirming the urgent need for regime change in Iran. They emphasized the importance of the Third Option—rejecting both appeasement and foreign intervention—in favor of a solution driven solely by the Iranian people and their organized Resistance to overthrow the ruling religious dictatorship.
Using placards, leaflets, banners, and protest photo displays in public squares, streets, and other gathering places, the Resistance Units highlighted the following slogans:
“The main battle in Iran, which has continued nonstop for 44 years, is between the Iranian people and a religious fascism known as Velayat-e Faqih (the rule of the supreme leader).”
“Neither the Shah nor the Sheikh! Freedom and a democratic republic.”
“Third Option: No appeasement, no war — overthrow of the religious dictatorship by the people and their Resistance.”
“The Iranian people’s liberation movement must be recognized.”
