On December 21, 2025, as Iranians traditionally celebrate Yalda Night—the Winter Solstice symbolizing the victory of light over darkness—Resistance Units affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) transformed the occasion into a powerful display of defiance against the ruling theocracy.
In cities throughout the country, these networks carried out coordinated anti-regime activities, posting banners, graffiti, and posters that unequivocally rejected all forms of dictatorship, including both the current mullahs’ regime and any return to monarchy.
These actions underscore the growing organized resistance inside Iran, channeling public discontent into calls for democratic change and the overthrow of the oppressive system.
