MEK Resistance Units Resume Anti‑Regime Activities in Zahedan

MEK Resistance Units carried out anti‑regime activities in Zahedan despite heavy security. They displayed banners, placards, and slogans in photos and video clips.

Anniversary of Fallen MEK Leaders Marked in Zahedan

This week’s activities coincided with the anniversary of two MEK leaders killed onFebruary 8, 1982 (19 Bahman 1360).
19 Bahman marks the Ashura of the MEK — a battle a hundredfold with ultimate sacrifice, honoring one hundred thousand martyrs from 1981 to today.

The Resistance Units honored these martyrs in their messages and placards.

  • Massoud Rajavi: “Ashraf and Mousa are the eternal and unforgettable symbols of the Iranian people.”
  • Maryam Rajavi: “Endless salute to Ashraf and Mousa Khiabani and their brave and heroic companions.”

Anti‑Dictatorship Slogans: No Shah, No Sheikh

Slogans displayed included:

  • “No Shah, No Sheikh — a line of demarcation with dictatorship and dependence; the Sheikh, like the Shah, is destined for certain overthrow.”

  • “The only path to liberation is uprising and the overthrow (of the regime).”

  • “From Zahedan to Tehran, death to the oppressor — whether Shah or Supreme Leader.”

  • “No Shah, No Sheikh — the demand of the Iranian people is a democratic republic.”

Messages Targeting the IRGC and Repression

  • “Just as they demanded the dissolution of the SAVAK, the people of Iran demand the dissolution of the IRGC.”
  • “The terrorist designation of the IRGC must be accompanied by recognition of the right of Iran’s youth to confront it and the right of the Iranian people and their Resistance to bring about regime change.”

  • “The EU’s terrorist designation of the IRGC is the urgent answer to the massacre of the youth of Iran’s uprising.”

Emphasis on Regime Change and Democratic Republic

The Resistance Units emphasized that the struggle of Iran’s youth against repression is inseparable from the broader demand for regime change and the establishment of a democratic republic rejecting all forms of dictatorship. They reaffirmed that, despite arrests, intimidation, and an expanded security crackdown, resistance activities will continue across Iran until freedom and popular sovereignty are achieved.
