MEK Resistance Units inside Iran have carried out coordinated actions in several cities in support of the recently announced provisional government by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
On February 28, 2026, the NCRI announced the formation of a provisional government aimed at transferring sovereignty to the Iranian people and paving the way for the establishment of a democratic republic. Following the announcement, MEK Resistance Units launched a series of activities across the country to express support for the opposition coalition’s political roadmap.
According to reports, 31 operations were conducted in Tehran and 18 other cities, including Karaj, Mashhad, Tabriz, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Ahvaz, Zahedan, and Baneh. During these operations, MEK Resistance Units displayed banners, posters, and slogans endorsing the NCRI’s provisional government and calling for the end of dictatorship in Iran.
