Despite the regime’s renewed wave of executions and escalating crackdown, Resistance Units affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) resumed their anti-regime activities, defying the regime’s campaign of political executions. The Resistance Units rejected all forms of dictatorship and condemned the glorification of the criminal SAVAK by remnants of the Shah’s regime.
Resistance Units in Zahedan displayed banners and slogans condemning the regime’s wave of executions, supporting organized resistance, and calling for freedom and a democratic republic in Iran.
