The PMOI/MEK Resistance Units commemorated the anniversary of the July 21, 1952 uprising through coordinated activities in Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Rasht, Karaj, Kermanshah, Zahedan, and several other cities. Their activities included banners, posters, graffiti, and public displays honoring Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh’s steadfast struggle against dictatorship while emphasizing the continuity of that legacy in today’s organized resistance.

Resistance Units expanded their campaign across Tehran, Mashhad, Karaj, Rasht, Qazvin, Arak, Hamedan, Yazd, Bandar Abbas, Sari, and other urban centers. The activities featured banners, wall slogans, posters, and public displays calling for freedom, democracy, and the overthrow of the ruling religious dictatorship despite heavy security restrictions.

Support for the NCRI and Massoud and Maryam Rajavi Expressed in Mashhad, Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, Isfahan and Other Cities
As part of the nationwide campaign, Resistance Units displayed banners and projected images in Mashhad, Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, Isfahan, and other cities expressing support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) as the democratic alternative. The activities also featured messages in support of Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi, linking their leadership with the continuing struggle for freedom and democratic governance in Iran.

Campaign Spans More Than 20 Iranian Cities, Linking the Spirit of July 21, 1952 with Today’s Organized Resistance
According to reports, the anniversary campaign reached more than 20 cities, including Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Karaj, Rasht, Qazvin, Arak, Hamedan, Yazd, Bandar Abbas, Kermanshah, Zahedan, Sari, Urmia, Gorgan, Semnan, and Qom. Organizers said the coordinated actions demonstrate that the spirit of the July 21, 1952 uprising continues through the organized activities of the MEK Resistance Units in support of a democratic republic.
