Widespread Anti-Repression Activities in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province; Emphasis on the International Designation of the IRGC and the Complete Rejection of Both Shah and Mullahs’ Dictatorships

July 17, 2026 — Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran

Despite the heavy atmosphere of repression, brave members of Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Zahedan carried out field activities and displayed banners and placards, demonstrating the Iranian people’s determination to overthrow the ruling religious dictatorship.

The campaign featured messages highlighting the Iranian Resistance’s positions, including the necessity of internationally designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the complete rejection of both the former monarchical dictatorship and the current clerical regime.

Resistance Units in Zahedan: Designating the IRGC Is a Practical Necessity for Global Peace

Among the messages displayed by the Resistance Units were:

“Maryam Rajavi: Designating the IRGC is essential for peace, stability, and security in the region and the world.”

“One of the practical necessities in confronting the IRGC is its designation as a terrorist organization.”

“The time has come to deal with the IRGC and the mullahs’ regime in practice, without any political or economic considerations.”

“Maryam Rajavi: The regime’s sinister strategy consists of suppressing the Iranian people, pursuing a nuclear weapons program, and exporting war and terrorism.”

Massoud Rajavi’s Messages Echo Across Baluchestan

The Resistance Units also displayed messages from  Massoud Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance, including:

“Massoud Rajavi: Arm yourselves as much as you can and confront the enemy of God and the people through armed resistance.”

“Massoud Rajavi: The dictatorship of the Velayat-e Faqih is a military-police dictatorship, and the IRGC is the instrument for preserving this regime and the rule of the Supreme Leader.”

“Massoud Rajavi: This regime has no future and no chance without a confrontation.”

“Down with the principle of Velayat-e Faqih (absolute religious dictatorship); curse upon Khomeini; death to the tyrant Khamenei; hail to Rajavi.”

A Clear Line Against Both Shah and Mullahs: Rejecting a Century of Dictatorship and Political Extortion

Freedom-seeking Baluch activists, through their slogans, rejected any false alternative and any return to past forms of dictatorship.

In this regard, the Resistance Units highlighted the following messages on walls and public spaces:

“Monarchy, Velayat (mullahs’ regime) — one hundred years of crimes.”

“A dictatorship is a dictatorship; whether with a turban or a crown.”

“Down with the oppressor, whether the Shah or the Supreme Leader.”

“Massoud Rajavi: The Shah’s son and the mullahs are both seeking only to gain and preserve power at any cost; monarchy, Velayat, and nothing else.”

Promoting Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan for the Future of Iran

The Resistance Units in Zahedan also highlighted international support for Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan through statements by international figures, including former Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi and Italian parliamentarian Naike Gruppioni.

Among the displayed messages were:

“Naike Gruppioni: Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan is a clear, credible, and comprehensive political proposal for building a free and pluralistic Iran in which human dignity is respected.”

“Maryam Rajavi: Iran’s future, peace, and freedom in Iran lie in establishing a democratic republic.”

“Maryam Rajavi: A society that has awakened, and whose young people have shed their blood at the hands of criminal Revolutionary Guards, will not retreat.”
